The Sakula Collection was gifted to Brighton and Sussex Medical School by the family of Dr Alex Sakula and comprises around 400 books and pamphlets. Subjects covered include the history of medicine, pioneers of medicine and some specialist subjects such as infectious diseases. The collection is available on a reference only basis and is located in the library at the Audrey Emerton Building, Royal Sussex County Hospital.
