Find a book

How to find print and electronic books in our collection. If we don’t have what you need, you can request it.

Borrow a book

Borrow, renew and return books via the self-issue kiosks. You will need your library membership card to use the kiosks.

The loan period for all items is 28 days. We will contact you if your book has been requested by another member; otherwise you can renew twice with your library membership number and PIN. Ask library staff for a PIN, or contact us to renew your books for you.

If we don’t have what you need, you can request it using the form on this page.

  • We aim to process all requests by the next working day.
  • We aim to supply 90% of article requests by the next working day*.
  • We aim to supply 75% of book requests within five working days*.

* Some items are requested from other libraries and so may take longer to supply.

We may share the information you have provided with other libraries to meet your request.

Your library membership number is needed for this service. Contact us if you do not have your number. If you are not yet a member you can join online.
