One-to-one or group sessions available to look at an individual leaflet.
Content
- A look at the most important principles of writing for patients, and tools and resources to help you.
- An example of a leaflet ‘before’ and ‘after’ it has been improved.
- A chance for you to share your draft leaflet with a Knowledge Specialist and get their advice on how to improve it.
- Tips to help you get your leaflet written and published as quickly and easily as possible.
Attend if
- You want to understand how to make leaflets easy to read and understand, including by people with lower levels of health literacy.
- You want to make sure your leaflets align with the Trust’s Carer and Patient Information Group’s (CPIG) guidance on producing patient education materials and gain CPIG approval.
Note
This session complies with the UHSussex process for patient education so may not be relevant for staff at other organisations.
