We can provide:

Getting ready for your appointment
It is helpful if you have checked that your ears are free of wax in case we need to test your hearing or make adjustments to hearing aids.
Please bring with you hearing aids if you have them.
Our sessions are usually 1 hour long and we encourage you to bring a friend or relative if you would like to.
What happens at your appointment
You will be contacted to let you know that we have received your referral and will be seen as soon as possible. Currently we have very long waits of between 2 to12 months. After your initial appointment we will make as many appointments as required. This is usually between 1 and 4.
Some appointments may take place in a group format. We will let you know if this is the case on your appointment letter. You can request to be seen individually if you prefer.
Where we are
Most sessions take place at Sussex House on the Royal Sussex County Hospital, between 8am and 6pm.
You may be given the opportunity to be seen at an outreach clinic at Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath or County Oak Medical Centre in Hollingbury, Brighton.
Support groups
Our friendly support group for tinnitus meets at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton on the second Wednesday of alternate months between 6 and 8pm.
