Making a Radiology referral
- Referrals for any Radiology examinations should be submitted via ICE – available via trust desktop or via Affinity Portal.
- For users external to the trust without ICE access, referral forms can be emailed to Radiology using the contact details below, or signed paper requests/ letters sent via post.
- Please note – paper requests from trust referrers are ONLY accepted during ICE or network downtime- this applies to inpatient and A&E referrals only.
Cancelling a Radiology referral
- If you request a Radiology examination in error, you MUST cancel the referral to avoid unnecessary irradiation of patients and wasted examination capacity.
- Please contact Radiology ASAP using the contact details below.
- You will be asked to give your name and a reason for the cancellation.
- Please do not submit another referral asking for the previous one to be cancelled.
