There is another avenue for you to take, the Trust has adopted a new independent 24/7 listening service called ‘The Guardian Service’, a dedicated UHSussex guardian (Trish Marks) is available to provide impartial and confidential support, with work related matters, including for example, matters relating to patient care and safety, whistleblowing, bullying and harassment, and work grievances.
We are very aware of the need at times to ensure an appropriate Guardian is available to speak with and support any individual from any background. If you are from an oppressed or marginalised group and you would rather speak to a Guardian from that same / similar group, please mention this in the initial contact with The Guardian Service and they will try to accommodate.
Trish will be visiting sites regularly so you can speak to her in-person, contact her on email or via the dedicated freephone number available 24/7.
