RSCH & PRH, Andy Hughes
Hello, I’m Andy, the Clinical Knowledge Specialist for Medicine and Surgery. I have been in this role since the end of 2024. Before that I was the CKS for Women and Children’s health. At the start of my time in the NHS (December 2021) I was in the role of Specialist Librarian for Sussex Community FT, a pilot for one year. A very varied three to four years! I’ve been a healthcare librarian for over 20 years and before I joined the NHS, spent several years working for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the MHRA prior to that.
Hello, my name is Ali Paul, and I’m the Clinical Knowledge Specialist based at Worthing Hospital Library in the Education Centre. I support the Clinical Support Services, Medicine West, and Surgery West divisions across UHSussex, as well as all staff based in Worthing.
With over 20 years of experience in NHS Libraries, I bring a deep understanding of how quality information supports quality care. Whether you’re looking to enhance your learning, improve your literature searching skills, or need help accessing the best evidence to support patient care, I’m here to help.
