RSCH & PRH, Andy Hughes
Hello, I’m Andy, the Clinical Knowledge Specialist for Medicine and Surgery. I have been in this role since the end of 2024. Before that I was the CKS for Women and Children’s health. At the start of my time in the NHS (December 2021) I was in the role of Specialist Librarian for Sussex Community FT, a pilot for one year. A very varied three to four years! I’ve been a healthcare librarian for over 20 years and before I joined the NHS, spent several years working for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the MHRA prior to that.
Hello, I am the Clinical Knowledge Specialist based at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.
I work closely with, and provide lead support to, the Cancer Services, Surgery and Specialist Services Divisions. I have been working in this role for three years, prior to working for many years in libraries in the HE sector.
