Menopause is a biological process that affects females in mid-life. It is experienced differently by different people and the possible symptoms are very varied. These may include hot flushes, sleep disturbance, headaches, anxiety, and joint pains and many others. The skin can also be affected at this time with many people noticing issues such as dry skin and increased wrinkles. We want to understand more about how the skin changes during the menopause, how these changes impact people’s lives, where they would go to seek help and advice and how we may be able to make care more accessible.
Our study has 2 parts.
Firstly, a national survey open to all individuals living in England, who are experiencing perimenopause and menopause. This should take about 20 minutes to complete. Participants can be put forward for a prize draw to receive a £25 high street voucher if they wish.
