It is important to contact a midwife early in your pregnancy. A lot of the screening tests we can offer you and your baby need to be done before you are 13 weeks pregnant.
Community midwives assess the health of both you and your baby, plan care together with you, and carry out all appointments for low-risk maternity care.
We are your link to hospital services. We will give you valuable support and education throughout your pregnancy and in the first days after birth.
